Along with finally introducing Brie Larson's Carol Danvers into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Captain Marvel is fulfilling option useful foster by including Nick Fury. For years Fury has been an important artiste in this continuity, but tiny has been revealed about his past. Samuel L. Jackson has aged gracefully upon his own, but looking at the above picture that the actor shared upon his Instagram page, it looks with that could have been grabbed from one of his 1990s movies, with Patriot Games or Die difficult with a Vengeance.

Of course, the extra big takeaway from this Captain Marvel picture is that Nick Fury yet has two on the go eyes at this stage of his life, even though I suspect that will fiddle with by the end of the movie, and that clip above his right eye makes makes for some on-the-nose (on-the-eye?) foreshadowing. As Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige previously revealed, Captain Marvel drops in upon Fury's excitement with he believes the best days of his excitement are higher than due to the cool feat having wrapped up. He hasn't had any experience with superheroes or aliens yet, but with he crosses paths with Carol Danvers, his excitement will be continually changed, marking his first step towards becoming the man blamed for bringing the Avengers together.

Although much of Captain Marvel will be set in outer space, with Carol Danvers and her Kree allies batting the shapeshifting Skrulls, a fair amount of the put-on will admit area upon Earth, resulting in Nick Fury, Phil Coulson (who's the extra boy at S.H.I.E.L.D.) and extra humans getting drawn into the craziness. It was moreover revealed today that Ben Mendelsohn's Skrull character, Talos, has infiltrated S.H.I.E.L.D. in the movie, consequently perhaps he's the one blamed for Fury's eye injury. And, of course, I'd be remiss if I didn't quotation that Captain Marvel will on completely run by how Fury got that spruced-up pager he used to right of entry Carol previously visceral dusted at the end of Avengers: Infinity War.
